We intervene on site for the participation, the realization, the intervention and the maintenance of new work, renovations and extensions, according to the specific domains of our customers / according to the field of our customers.


Description



We are looking for a HEM ENGINEER for a minimum of 12 months in NIGERIA for one of our clients.

 

Within the framework of the project (700MW, 4 Francis units), the following activities will be carried out for this service


  • Supervision of the commissioning works of the hydropower units

  • Monitoring the progress of the works

  • Leading a team of technical controllers

  • Participation in site meetings

  • Drafting of monthly reports for the part of the works concerned

  • Follow-up of as-built documents


The expected deliverables are:



  • Monthly and quarterly progress reports,

  • Site report

  • Commissioning test report

  • Completion report,

  • Notes, memoranda and minutes of meetings



Profil




  • 20 years experience in hydro mechanical equipment / turbine generator set / erection / supervision of works / commissioning / acceptance.

  • Significant experience in hydro mechanical equipment in engineering or with a manufacturer in the hydroelectric field.

  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipment.

  • Knowledge of foreign sites.

  • Experience in commissioning and acceptance of works.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Ability to write.

  • Good interpersonal skills in a multicultural context.

  • Experience in Africa
