GAS – PACKAGE MANAGER – FRANCE (9 Months)

Description :
We are looking for a Package Manager for a minimum of 9 months in France (94).

As Package Manager, your role will be to assist the Owner Project Director (OPD) during the development phase:
  • Support the OPD on behalf of the two partners in the tendering and ‘preparation for signature’ of the EPC contracts, which will be validated when the final investment decision (FID) is approved by the partners and end customers,
  • Managing the call for tenders for these EPC contracts (2 identified lots, Process and Jetty), including the preparation of a consolidated ITB file, the definition of a list of bidders, clarifications and the preparation of an award recommendation,
  • Coordinate the functions involved in this tender process, including procurement, legal and engineering,
  • Coordinating the definition of robust interfaces between the EPC packages, contributing to the overall derisking of the project execution,
  • Contribute to the alignment of the scope to be executed by (liquefaction package, as EPC or EP) with the EPC Process and Jetty contracts,
  • Define a ‘gate’ validation plan to obtain the approval of both partners and provide elements for their respective internal governance,
  • Define the scope of the owner's engineering contracts (2 identified packages, Process and Jetty), organise the necessary tenders and ensure their mobilisation both to support the EPC tenders and to be ready for award at the IDF,
  • Implement a robust risk and opportunity assessment process in accordance with procedures for these tender packages,
  • Promote opportunities and innovations to improve competitiveness
  • Assist in the coordination and management of project activities for the respective scope, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
  • Participate in project review meetings and distribute and consolidate technical, commercial and legal issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with other project members to share knowledge, lessons learned and best practices across projects and teams.
  • Travel once or twice a month within the 59.
Profile :

  • Languages (very good level of English)
  • Solution-oriented mindset to identify solutions in the interest of the partners by leveraging the resources of both groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage interfaces between partners and respective stakeholders in the process (project management, procurement, business, finance, etc.), as well as with EPC contractors; ability to influence and onboard people from diverse backgrounds.
  • A basic knowledge of process design and technology will also be appreciated.

  • Ability to understand and challenge engineers from different engineering disciplines.
  • He/she must have a good knowledge of the main stages of EPC project execution on industrial projects, with proven experience of EPC tendering as well as other fundamental aspects: main engineering disciplines, safety, quality, project control, etc.
