We are looking for a CW Engineer for a minimum of 12 months in France (94).

On the CIVIL ENGINEERING section and on the STEEL FRAMING section:

• Validate the calculation assumptions for the foundations and steel frameworks (geotechnical characteristics, seismic spectrum, wind speed, steel resilience, concrete and framework regulations, buried networks, etc.).

• Drawing up specifications for the subcontracting of the soil survey, the drawing up of a soil report, civil engineering detail studies, steelwork detail studies, a specialist office for rotating machinery, etc.

• Analysing a geotechnical report (ground stress, differential settlement, soil categories, reaction moduli, behaviour of piles in the ground, water table, etc.).

• Directing and supervising the design and coordinating the studies carried out by the subcontractors, checking the dimensional adequacy of the structures in line with the piping and boiler installation studies

• Manually calculate reinforced concrete elements (bending and shear reinforcement, etc.),

• Design structural systems (strength of materials)

• Calculate (manually) structural steel elements (buckling calculations, finite element calculations using specific software, integration of natural vibration frequencies, European codes, etc.)

• Determining the technical suitability and economic optimisation of civil engineering and steelwork structures

• Drawing up progress reports on deliverables, hours and material costs, in accordance with the project schedule

• Drawing up the technical part of works contracts for foundations, piles, external works, buildings and structural steelwork

• Monitoring calls for tender, drawing up technical comparison tables and participating in technical clarifications with contractors

• Ensuring that studies are carried out in accordance with the project schedule

• Provide civil engineering and structural engineering technical support during site assembly

Deliverables to be produced in accordance with the project schedule:

• TRS studies and works contract, comparisons

• Progress report on the coordination of the studies based on the deliverables

• Calculation note (column anchors)

• Technical specifications for civil engineering and structural steelwork (TRS)

• Civil engineering and structural steelwork specifications

• Annotated drawings from design offices and suppliers

• Travel in France and Europe of a few days per quarter.
