DISPATCHING CONTROL ASSISTANCE INTERNATIONAL

EPC – E&I ENGINEER – BELGIUM (7 Months)

Description :
We are looking for an E&I Engineer for a minimum of 7 months in Belgium (41).
  • In support of technical proposals, project implementation and/or the development of innovative technical solutions, carry out the engineering tasks requested by the entity's product lines
  • Carrying out and optimising the engineering of power equipment and measurement instrumentation required for the correct operation and safety of the unit's products to the satisfaction of customers, in accordance with the requested schedules and budgets
  • Drawing up technical documentation in compliance with local regulations, applicable codes, customers' technical specifications and internal standards
  • Analyse and enforce customer technical specifications
  • Support the pre-project and project implementation teams during technical clarification meetings with the customer
  • Participate in design reviews and apply the action plan
  • Drawing up lists of measuring instruments, electrical consumers, control and safety PLC inputs/outputs and power and control cables
  • Co-ordinate SIL (Safety Integrated Level) studies for control and safety loops, and measurement instrumentation
  • Drawing up technical specifications for power equipment and measuring instruments
  • Coordinate and check the completeness and conformity of wiring diagrams and cable tray plans
  • Conducting technical negotiations and coordinating subcontractors and/or equipment suppliers
  • Ensuring fluid control and continuity of technical information at interfaces
  • Solve technical problems inherent in project implementation
  • Providing assembly documentation for measuring instruments and power equipment
  • Drawing up training documentation for partners and customers and holding training sessions
  • Analysing and anticipating technical risks
  • Actively participate in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the entity's fundamental know-how in its engineering discipline through technology watch, standards watch and/or a feedback process.
  • Developing the tools, programmes, models and calculation tools needed to produce the documentation that supports this know-how effectively
Profile :
  • Degree in civil or industrial engineering in electromechanical, electrical or energy engineering.
  • 6 years' experience in E&I on industrial projects
  • Experience in site supervision is a plus
  • Knowledge of Elec Calc and Smart Plant is a plus
  • Technical negotiation with suppliers
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Autonomous profile, able to take initiatives, work in a team with multiple interfaces linked to various fields of expertise.
