Senior Electronic Industrialisation Engineer – Belgium – 11 Months

Description :
We are looking for a Senior Electronic Industrialisation Engineer to lead the transition from electronic prototypes to fully industrialised, reliable and certifiable products for use in defence applications.

This high-impact role is critical to preserving rare technical know-how and supporting the expansion of a growing team. You will oversee the complete industrialisation process and manage a small engineering team.
  • Lead the full industrialisation lifecycle: prototyping, production, assembly and testing
  • Define electronic components, manage procurement and schedule activities
  • Develop and implement internal test benches (hardware and software – LabVIEW, TestStand)
  • Supervise a team of 3 engineers and provide technical leadership
  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards and handle non-conformities
  • Perform manual and automated testing of electronic assemblies
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting (HW/SW)
  • Collaborate closely with design teams, even on incomplete documentation
  • Train and upskill both local and international teams
  • Contribute to certification processes and qualification for mass production
  • Attend technical meetings and internal/external presentations
Profile :
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in electronic industrialisation
  • Expertise in power electronics, design, cabling, PCB assembly and testing
  • Proficiency in ALTIUM (schematic and PCB design)
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW (training can be provided) and ideally with TestStand
  • Experience in manual and automated testing
  • Knowledge of IPC standards: CID / CID+, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620
  • Solid understanding of both hardware and software environments
  • Engineering degree in electronics
  • Experience in military, aerospace, automotive or rail sectors preferred
  • Strong organisational skills, precision, and ability to work in unstructured environments
  • Fluent in French; technical English required
