DCAI is currently supporting a major nuclear new-build programme in France and is looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Detail Designer / Structural BIM Specialist to join a high-level engineering team involved in EPR2 detailed design activities.

This assignment is part of a Phase 2 detailing scope, with a strong focus on reinforced concrete structures, constructability, and collaborative BIM delivery.

As part of the Civil Works design team, you will be responsible for:

• Producing and reviewing reinforced concrete detailing models, including rebar and formwork layouts

• Supporting the development of 3D execution models to be used as a construction baseline

• Participating in technical coordination with design leads, contractors and engineering stakeholders

• Contributing to collaborative phase workshops and ensuring alignment with project detailing requirements

• Challenging and supporting the preparation of Detail Method Statements (DMS) and associated deliverables

• Delivering high-quality structural BIM outputs (CPM / CBM / CDM models) in line with nuclear standards

• Supervising a small remote team of civil designers and ensuring compliance with structural requirements
