Civil & Structural BIM Modeler – France (13) – 6 Months

Description :
D.C.A.I. is recruiting an experienced Civil & Structural BIM Modeler to support major nuclear engineering projects for a leading international engineering company. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and modelling of reinforced concrete, steel structures and underground facilities within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Design & Modelling

  • Produce general arrangement and detailed drawings (2D & 3D).
  • Develop technical models for:
    • Reinforced concrete structures.
    • Steel structures.
    • Underground civil works.
  • Participate in the technical design of engineering projects.

Technical Documentation

Prepare and update:
  • Formwork drawings.
  • Reinforcement drawings.
  • Civil engineering guide drawings.
  • As-built documentation (DOE).

Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Roads & Utilities (VRD)
    • Architecture
    • HVAC
    • Electrical
  • Participate in internal and external technical meetings.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of engineering documentation.
Profile :
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Civil Engineering modelling (15+ years preferred).
  • Extensive experience producing 2D and 3D structural models.
  • Strong background in reinforced concrete and steel structures.
  • Experience delivering engineering documentation for complex industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent coordination skills within multidisciplinary engineering environments.
  • Civil Engineering modelling.
  • Reinforced concrete detailing.
  • Steel structure detailing.
  • Technical drawing production.
  • BIM methodologies.
  • Coordination of multidisciplinary models.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working on large engineering projects.
  • Comfortable interacting with multiple engineering disciplines.
