Bid Manager – France (93) – 6 Months

Description :
As part of its development in complex nuclear and engineering projects, an engineering company is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to oversee the preparation and submission of expressions of interest (EOI), pre-qualifications (PQ) and commercial proposals. The Bid Manager will be responsible for the response strategy, coordinating internal and external teams, and overall monitoring of the bidding phase, from defining the action plan to final submission.
  • Oversee the complete preparation of bids (EOIs, PQs, technical and commercial proposals).
  • Define the response strategy and success factors in coordination with the technical and commercial departments.
  • Structure proposals: content, pricing, schedule, deliverables and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Coordinate contributions from technical experts, partners and subcontractors.
  • Ensure the consistency and quality of technical and financial documents.
  • Supervise allocated hours and monitor actual costs related to the bidding phase.
  • Lead contract negotiations with the support of legal and technical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies (ethics, quality, document management).
  • Manage CRM and bid management tools (Salesforce, Comref, Planisware).
  • Organise the transition between the bid phase and project execution, as well as feedback with the customer and internal teams.
Profile :
  • Education: 5 years of higher education (engineering school, business school, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years (ideally 10 years) in bid management in the nuclear, energy, or industrial engineering sectors.
  • Strong skills in managing international tenders and multi-stakeholder coordination.
  • Knowledge of response procedures for key accounts and public/private contracts.
  • Proficiency in the following tools: Salesforce, Comref, Planisware, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Rigour, leadership and strategic thinking.
  • Fluent professional English required.
