E&I Draughtsman – Belgium – 6 Months
Description :
As part of an engineering team involved in energy projects, we are looking for an experienced E&I Draughtsman to support instrumentation, earthing, lighting layout, and cable routing studies. You will work in close collaboration with E&I engineers and other discipline teams (piping, structures, valves, equipment).

Place instruments, equipment, lighting, supports, and cable trays in Smart 3D.

Carry out lighting studies and determine required lighting points.

Route cables and calculate cable tray fill ratios.

Draw earthing schemes in Smart 3D.

Produce standard mounting plans for supports, lighting, cable trays, earthing and instrumentation using Inventor.

Generate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and follow up with technical validations.

Collaborate with procurement for part selection and catalogue-based BOM preparation.

Manage allocated hours and materials within project constraints.
Profile :
Technical Skills
-
Industrial drawing or automation background.
-
Proficiency with Inventor (Autodesk), Smart 3D (Hexagon), Naviswork Manage, and EVO Dialux.

Knowledge of instrumentation is an asset.

Intermediate to advanced MS Excel, basic to intermediate MS Access.

Ability to interpret technical documentation and work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
