We are looking for an Senior Equipment and Skid Design Engineer for a minimum of 7 months in Belgium (41).

To participate to product development and project execution of the electrolyser separation system, and particularly its gas washing system:  system to remove electrolyte droplets from the oxygen and the hydrogen streams.  This includes:

• To challenge current design by developing alternatives and optimizations based on theory, calculations, CFD, testing, return of experience, literature, and exchanges with subcontractors.

• To give instructions to the drafting team for the 3D models by considering all constraints (process function, system integration, instrumentation, manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, norms and standards).

• To analyse client specifications.

• To prepare technical documents for RFQ of pressure vessels and their internal elements such as distributors, packings, demister and baffles based on customer requirements, applicable norms and client specifications.

• To analyse technical offers from subcontractors.

• Follow-up of detailed engineering by subcontractors.

• To participate to inspections at manufacturer workshop.

• To provide support to other disciplines, including support to project manager for clarifications with client.

• To analyse international norms and standards to check their applicability to our product and to adapt our design if required
