HPP – INTERFACE MANAGER CW&EM EQUIPMENT – AUSTRALIA (6 Months)
Description :
We are looking for an Electro Mechanical - Civil Engineering Interface Manager for a minimum of 6 months in Australia (26).

Attend all design coordination meetings and Electro Mechanical - Civil Engineering interface meetings.

Close all remaining open interfaces with the EM supplier's design
-
Close all remaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for each interface with the ME supplier, liaising with relevant contacts within the DJV team.

Submit ICDs and follow up on identified actions to obtain necessary responses.

Plan and monitor the input and output stages to and from the MS supplier in order to meet the deadlines for submitting design files.

Lead, with the support of the head office teams, the review of the elements provided by the ME supplier in relation to the identified interfaces (drawings, calculation notes, etc.).

Inform the customer as soon as possible of any delays in critical path activities.

Oversee the debugging process for conflicts in the 3D BIM model between civil engineering structures and EM equipment
-
Liaise with the LAYOUT team (and, if necessary, with the EM expert(s) at HQ) regarding change management.

Liaise with HQ teams when changes or new contributions need to be implemented in the design (after these changes or new contributions have been formalised), support the preparation of RFCs where necessary and complete the full resolution of RFCs.

Identify, where appropriate, items related to interfaces with the OS provider (delayed inputs, modified inputs, change in design direction from customer and/or employer, etc.) that could impact on customer time or costs or anticipate any risk of customer complaints on specific interface items with the OS provider.
Tasks will include:

Conducting site inspections to verify compliance of the works with the approved design.

Where non-conformities are identified, communicating directly with customer representatives on site to resolve the situation, if possible immediately. Write observation reports and forward them to the customer, then monitor the company's handling of the problems;

Resolve technical problems occurring on site (RFI, FCN, NCR, etc.).

Ensure ongoing communication and coordination with the design manager(s) at headquarters.

Participate in the management of the resident team on site, in particular the other members of the resident team responsible for supervising civil engineering works.

Participate in and lead, if necessary, internal and external technical meetings to resolve comments and problems.

prepare and, where necessary, draw up operation and maintenance manuals

preparing and assisting, where appropriate, with testing and commissioning procedures relating to civil engineering structures

During the construction phase, the service aims to facilitate communication and coordination between the designer and the EM contractor, helping the customer to resolve any potential problems and respond to any requests for changes that may arise on site.
Profile :

Minimum number of years' experience: 15

Management of civil engineering/electromechanical equipment interfaces on site as part of one or more hydroelectric projects

On-site experience in at least one hydropower project

Experience in a large-scale civil engineering project

Office Suite (imperative)

AutoCAD (recommended)

Preparation of deliverables in English
