DCAI is supporting a major industrial project in the Netherlands and is currently seeking an experienced Site HSES Permit Coordinator.

The Permit Coordinator will be responsible for managing the application, review and issuance of construction and commissioning-related Safe Work Permits in accordance with customer procedures.

The role requires close coordination with the project team and contractors to ensure full compliance with HSES regulations and permit tracking.

• Promote and enforce the 12 Life Saving Rules

• Provide Safe Work Permit training to contractor personnel

• Review contractors’ Method Statements, Risk Assessments and supporting documentation

• Manage and validate Safe Work Permits (including Confined Space and Work at Height permits)

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and project HSES standards

• Communicate safety requirements related to high-risk activities (excavations, confined space, lifting operations, hot work, etc.)

• Participate in coordination meetings addressing SIMOPS and co-activity risks

• Perform gas testing for high-risk activities (e.g. confined space, hot work)

• Participate in safety walk-downs

• Stop unsafe work if unacceptable risks are identified
