IT Support Officer – Belgium – 9 Months

Description :
Within a globally structured IT environment, we are seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to join the Service Desk & Workplace team. The scope includes managing incidents, service requests and hardware/software deployments across a wide international user base, ensuring quality support in a fast-paced corporate setting.

Technical Environment:

– Nearly 4,000 users across 60+ sites in 7 countries
– Over 450 servers hosted across two Belgian datacentres
– WAN infrastructure covering 50+ locations
– Technologies: Windows 10/11, Office 365 Suite, Active Directory, Exchange (On-Prem & Online), Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive Key Responsibilities: – Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for end-users
– Resolve most issues at first contact, remotely or on-site
– Log, manage, and close support tickets using the internal system
– Deploy and configure PCs and peripherals, maintain imaging tools
– Install and configure hardware and software
– Actively contribute to solution development and documentation
– Support rollout of new tools, updates and IT lifecycle management
– Monitor trends and ensure continuous improvement of support processes
– Collaborate with IT teams across the organisation to maintain service quality
Profile :
– IT technician diploma or equivalent experience
– Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar IT support role
– Prior experience in an international, multi-site environment is an asset
– Proficient in French with strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
– Excellent interpersonal skills, client-oriented mindset
– Reliable, solution-driven and well-organised
– Capable of working independently and taking initiative
– Availability for occasional travel (maximum 10%) Technical Skills Required: – Microsoft Office 2019, 2021, 365
– Windows 10 and 11
– PC hardware and peripherals
– User, computer and group management in AD and Azure AD
– Exchange mailbox and shared mailbox administration
– Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive
– Desirable: Windows Server, SCCM, basic router/switch configuration, ITIL familiarity
