As part of strategic industrial projects for the defence sector, we are looking for a senior Proposal Engineer to be responsible for analysing, estimating and optimising the costs involved in preparing technical and commercial bids.

Main responsibilities :

• Analysis of tenders and documentation: Studying specifications in detail and interacting with the various stakeholders.

• Costing and estimating: Determining equipment, labour and production costs based on internal references and supplier documents.

• Cost optimisation: Identifying areas for improvement to optimise prices while guaranteeing the quality and profitability of projects.

• Creating and updating a reference database: Defining pricing standards and building up a reliable reference base (raw materials, equipment, production times, etc.).

• Working with in-house teams: Working closely with the Proposals Engineer, the purchasing teams, sales and customer support to ensure that offers are consistent and competitive.
