As part of a major international hydroelectric project, we are looking for a Senior Engineer specialising in underground works (tunnels, galleries, chambers, etc.) to supervise and guarantee the technical compliance and quality of execution of a major batch of works.

You will work under the responsibility of the Head of Residence and in close coordination with the project team (technical management and head office team).

Your main tasks:

• Provide permanent technical support to the Head of Residence for underground works.

• Train and supervise a local team responsible for on-site inspections.

• Check that the execution plans correspond to the work carried out.

• Checking the procedures, ITPs and methods proposed by the works company.

• Ensuring that underground work complies with the technical documents and the contract.

• Carrying out on-site quality inspections and guaranteeing the conformity of the materials used.

• Identify deviations, propose corrective measures and monitor physical progress.

• Participate in drafting monthly reports.

• Strictly apply current HSE standards.
