WATER – ELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNICIAN – FRANCE (12 Months)

Description :
We are looking for an electromechanical technician for a minimum of 12 months in France (94)

The electromechanical technician is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, upgrading or mechanical and electrical renovation of materials, equipment and production/industrial operation facilities, in accordance with safety regulations and production requirements. He/she will also be involved in the operation of the unit and be on call one week a month (evenings and weekends).

Main responsibilities:
  • Carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance on equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic);
  • Assemble, adjust, troubleshoot and improve equipment;
  • Program, modify and repair control and/or power systems;
  • Troubleshoot faults of electronic/electrical and/or software origin, taking account of mechanical and pneumatic interaction;
  • Diagnose/locate a fault and define corrective measures;
  • Plan an intervention (order equipment, describe intervention procedures);
  • Drawing up work reports in the CMMS database;
  • Identify potential risks in all circumstances, alert and propose protective measures and solutions;
  • Participate in the operation of the unit, including loading/unloading, monitoring on control screens, switching equipment on and off;
  • On-call duty: remote control in the event of an alarm, on-site intervention if necessary.
  • Ensuring the availability of production equipment in line with productivity requirements;
  • Ensure that equipment complies with current standards;
  • Assist production staff with 1st level maintenance;
  • Keeping technical files on installations up to date and making computer back-ups;
  • Follow operating schedules and instructions.
Profile :
  • Technical training in electromechanics or technical trades;
  • Experience in an automated industrial environment;
  • Applies safety rules;
  • Autonomous, flexible and customer-oriented.
  • Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic skills;
  • Welding / handling skills;
  • Good command of the Office suite;
  • Electrical clearance;
  • Understanding of programming languages and ability to develop and modify a program or parameters;
  • Analysis and understanding of flowcharts, electrical or hydraulic diagrams and grafcets;
  • ATEX clearance and category 3 CACES (an asset).
