DCAI is recruiting a Project Engineer to support nuclear engineering projects focusing on engineering modifications, operational documentation and safety frameworks. You will contribute to the technical management of studies related to nuclear power plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations and technical documentation requirements. This role is ideal for engineers with experience in nuclear operations engineering, safety documentation, technical project coordination, and the management of engineering modifications (design and/or organisational).
Key responsibilities As part of an engineering support team, you will be responsible for:

Delivering and technically steering studies linked to nuclear plant operations and associated documentation

Producing and updating nuclear safety-related deliverables, including:
-
General operating rules and safety doctrine
-
Operating / accident procedures (PST, accident handling, testing)
-
Test documentation (PEP, PPR…)
-
Safety case / accident studies (deterministic and probabilistic)
-

Managing and integrating engineering modifications (organisational and equipment-related)
-
Ensuring coordination between key stakeholders: project teams, engineering, operations, safety, etc.

Organising and leading project meetings (kick-off, steering, progress tracking, coordination)
-
Contributing to the technical environment and scope definition of the assignment

Monitoring planning and milestones for assigned work packages

Preparing weekly and monthly reporting

Capturing and formalising Lessons Learned for continuous improvement
Profile :
-
Engineering background (mechanical, nuclear, process, industrial, systems, etc.)
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (project engineering, nuclear operations, safety documentation, modifications)

Good understanding of nuclear environment, safety culture and regulatory expectations

Strong coordination skills and structured communication
-
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliverables in parallel
-
Rigorous, organised, proactive and comfortable with project follow-up
