Our client is a key energy operator involved in the development, generation, transmission and distribution of renewable energy, with a strong footprint in hydropower and hybrid energy systems.

The role is part of a strategic expansion programme aimed at supporting sustainable economic development and energy access at regional scale.

As COO, you will be responsible for the overall operational performance of energy assets, including:

• Leading and structuring operational and maintenance teams

• Supervising daily operations of:

  • Hydropower plants

  • MV/LV distribution networks

  • Hybrid solar systems

• Ensuring reliability, continuity of service and operational performance

• Defining and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies

• Managing operational budgets and cost optimisation

• Coordinating site operations across multiple locations

• Ensuring compliance with HSE, quality and electrical safety standards

• Collaborating with engineering, commercial and external stakeholders

• Supporting strategic development alongside executive management
