HPP Contract Manager – Tajikistan – 6 Months
Description :
We are supporting a major international engineering company on a large-scale hydropower project involving multiple EPC contracts.
The role is focused on contract management across several construction lots, within a complex and high-stakes international environment.
- Lead all contractual activities related to multiple construction lots
- Manage contracts under FIDIC Silver Book (EPC/Turnkey) and future FIDIC Red Book (2017)
- Provide contractual guidance to site teams, including:
- CRE / Deputy Contract Manager
- Cost Controllers
- Planners
- Resident Engineers
- Legal teams
- Coordinate and validate inputs from multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Draft and review contractual documentation:
- formal letters
- reports
- meeting minutes (MoM)
- contractual notices
- Support claims management, dispute resolution and contractual strategy
Profile :
- Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Law
- Minimum 25 years of international experience
- Strong background in large hydropower projects
- Proven expertise in:
- FIDIC Silver Book (EPC)
- FIDIC Red Book
- Experience on:
- at least 2 Silver Book projects
- at least 2 Red Book projects
- Experience in DAB and/or arbitration is a strong advantage
- Excellent drafting and contractual communication skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Russian is a plus
