HPP Contract Manager – Tajikistan – 6 Months

DCAI is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join a major international hydropower development project in Tajikistan.

The successful candidate will take ownership of contractual matters across multiple large-scale construction packages and will work closely with project management, engineering, planning, cost control and legal teams to ensure effective contract administration and risk management throughout project execution.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the region's most significant infrastructure developments within a highly international environment.
  • Lead all contractual activities related to major construction packages.
  • Manage and administer multiple EPC and construction contracts.
  • Provide contractual guidance and support to the site management team.
  • Advise project stakeholders on contractual obligations, rights and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate contractual inputs and outputs between technical, commercial and legal teams.
  • Prepare and review:
    • Contractual correspondence
    • Claims documentation
    • Formal notices
    • Reports
    • Meeting minutes
    • Position papers
    • Contractual assessments
  • Support dispute avoidance and resolution processes.
  • Participate in negotiations with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project procedures.
  • Contribute to contract risk management and commercial strategy.
Profile :
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Law or a related discipline.
  • Additional qualification in Construction Law is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 25 years of international experience within the construction industry.
  • Extensive experience on large-scale hydropower projects.
  • Proven track record in contract management on complex EPC projects.
  • Strong experience administering international construction contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Experience working in multicultural and international project environments.

  • Excellent drafting and reporting skills.
