Nuclear FE Analyst – UK (BS1) – 6 Months
Description :
DCAI is currently seeking an experienced FE Analyst to support the structural assessment of reinforced concrete structures for major nuclear power projects in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary nuclear engineering team involved in the analysis, design verification and assessment of critical structures within highly regulated environments. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to some of the most significant nuclear infrastructure projects currently under development in Europe.

Perform advanced structural analyses using Finite Element Method (FEM) software.

Develop and assess detailed numerical models of reinforced concrete structures.

Conduct structural behaviour assessments under complex loading conditions.

Perform dynamic analyses including:

Seismic loading
-
Blast loading
-
Accidental load cases
-

Post-process and interpret FEM results to support structural design activities.
-
Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal computational tools and engineering methodologies.

Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams.

Coordinate technical activities within multidisciplinary project environments.

Participate in technical reviews and design verification activities.

Support the development and mentoring of junior engineers and analysts.

Produce high-quality technical reports and engineering deliverables.
Profile :
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Strong background in finite element structural analysis.

Experience with reinforced concrete structures.

Experience with dynamic analysis methodologies.

Nuclear industry experience.

Major infrastructure project experience.
-
Experience delivering engineering work packages within demanding project schedules.

Experience working within UK engineering standards and regulations.
