DISPATCHING CONTROL ASSISTANCE INTERNATIONAL

DCAI is looking for an Electrical Technical Coordinator to support an EPC package for a high-voltage substation project.

In this role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces and oversee electrical engineering activities, ensuring that technical deliverables meet project requirements, objectives and constraints.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate the HV substation EPC package across electrical engineering, civil engineering and mechanical structures, including interfaces with the Transmission System Operator (TSO).

• Prepare and review electrical drawings, equipment specifications and technical documentation.

• Define the scope of outsourced electrical engineering studies and supervise their execution.

• Prepare technical specifications for electrical installation contracts.

• Review power equipment, protection and control systems for HV substations.

• Coordinate electrical equipment acceptance activities.

• Support installation and commissioning teams in accordance with project engineering procedures.

• Maintain project technical records and drawing registers in coordination with the Project Engineer.

• Capture lessons learned throughout the project.

Key technical deliverables

• Single-line diagrams and associated electrical load lists.

• Electrical network studies, including short-circuit calculations and power balances.

• HV and MV equipment specifications.

• Technical bid comparison tables.

• Specifications for detailed engineering and electrical installation works.

• Reviews of electrical drawings and diagrams within the assigned scope.
