IT Support Officer – Belgum – 7 Months

Description :
An international industrial group is looking for an IT Support Officer to join its Corporate ICT Department – Service Desk & Workplace Division.
The role involves providing operational support to users across more than 60 sites and 7 countries, ensuring the reliability, continuity, and optimisation of IT services within a dynamic and innovative environment. Main Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for incidents and service requests.
  • Resolve most requests during the first contact via support tools or on-site intervention.
  • Record, follow up, and close tickets in the ITSM tool.
  • Manage PC deployment, system imaging, hardware and software installation.
  • Contribute to the creation of IT procedures and documentation.
  • Support the implementation of new IT projects and solutions.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of IT equipment and components.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of service quality and user satisfaction.
Profile :
  • Education: IT technician diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role, ideally within an international and multi-site environment.
  • Languages:
    • French: Native or bilingual.
    • English: Fluent (spoken and written).
Technical Skills
  • Operating systems: Windows 11 (installation, configuration, troubleshooting).
  • Hardware: PCs, peripherals, telephony (IP and mobile).
  • Directory management: Active Directory (users, computers, groups, GPO), Entra ID (users and groups).
  • Software: Microsoft 365 (licences, access, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Email: Exchange On-Premise and Online (mailboxes, shared boxes, distribution lists).
  • Collaboration tools: Atlassian (Jira, Confluence).
  • Assets: PowerShell scripting, Windows Server, SCCM, basic knowledge of routers/switches, ITIL practices.
