Nuclear Project Engineer – France (13) – 6 Months
Description :
DCAI is recruiting several Project Engineers to support major nuclear engineering programmes. You will be involved in the coordination and technical follow-up of engineering work packages, ensuring proper delivery, interface management and project governance. This role suits candidates with a strong interest in project coordination, engineering follow-up, stakeholder management and structured reporting within a complex industrial environment.
Key responsibilities As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Coordinating and managing project stakeholders

Organising and leading project meetings (steering committees, technical coordination, progress reviews)

Ensuring proper governance and follow-up of assigned work packages
-
Monitoring planning and ensuring milestone delivery

Contributing to monthly reporting and project dashboards

Supporting the client project coordinator in key project routines
-
Producing weekly and monthly reporting documentation
-
Establishing and maintaining risk analysis (with relevant contributors)

Managing supplier relationships and follow-up in engineering / procurement / delivery phases

Following suppliers during study, procurement and implementation phases (mechanical and structural work packages)

Supporting and coordinating interfaces with other disciplines

Managing contract-specific requirements related to project execution

Capturing and formalising Lessons Learned for continuous improvement
Profile :
-
Engineering degree (or equivalent)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in project engineering / project coordination in an industrial context

Good understanding of engineering environments (mechanical, civil, structures, systems, etc.)

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities

Rigorous, structured, proactive and solution-oriented

Comfortable with reporting and project follow-up tools (MS Office suite, planning tools)
