Nuclear Safety Project Engineer – France (13) – 6 Months
Description :
As part of nuclear engineering projects, we are supporting a leading international engineering company in the delivery of engineering studies related to design modifications.
The role is focused on REP (pressurised water reactor) environments, with strong involvement in safety, engineering coordination and technical documentation.
- Lead and coordinate stakeholders involved in engineering design modifications
- Analyse technical impacts and ensure consistency with project requirements
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including:
- Safety reports
- Operating procedures (normal and accidental conditions)
- Engineering justifications and technical notes
- Support integration of modifications within existing systems
- Contribute to:
- equipment classification and qualification
- maintenance strategies
- organisational and operational impacts
- Prepare presentation materials and support decision-making processes
- Produce regular reporting (weekly / monthly)
Profile :
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Nuclear or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Strong experience in:
- nuclear engineering projects
- REP (PWR) systems and operation
- safety and engineering modifications
- Good knowledge of EDF engineering processes
- Experience with CETRI (or equivalent certification) is a plus
- Proven experience in:
- technical documentation
- coordination of multidisciplinary teams
