Technical Integrity Project Engineer – Germany – 6 Months

Description :
We are looking for a Technical Integrity Project Engineer (F/M) to ensure technical coordination and guarantee the integrity of technical specifications within a complex engineering project.

This role involves acting as the main interface between the various stakeholders, ensuring that technical and operational requirements are correctly defined, validated and implemented.
Possible travel : Netherlands, Belgium, France - 2 to 3 times a month.

Technical coordination and requirements management
  • Translate customer requirements into technical specifications for engineering.
  • Filter and manage stakeholder feedback, ensuring a smooth flow of information.
  • Act as the main point of contact for technical exchanges between teams and partners.
  • Define the Basis of Design and Site Data Sheet.
Validation and follow-up of technical deliverables
  • Oversee the validation of technical documents and ensure their compliance with project expectations.
  • Coordinate technical reviews with experts and design authorities.
  • Verify Facilities Scope Definition to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
Risk management and optimization of technical choices
  • Work with the CIE Process Risk Manager to identify and mitigate process risks.
  • Verify the correct allocation of the DA/ODVA strategy and ensure its integration into the project.
  • Participate in the assessment of operational readiness and identify operational requirements.
Technical plan support and adjustment
  • Adapt the Technical Integrity Plan in line with project developments and stakeholder feedback.
  • Ensure traceability of technical decisions and consistency with the E&C contract.
Profile :
  • 5 years' higher education in Engineering (Industrial, Process, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering).
  • Proven experience in technical coordination and project engineering, ideally in the Gas, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Energy or EPC sectors.
  • Expertise in complex technical project management and multi-trade coordination.
  • Excellent understanding of engineering disciplines: piping, instrumentation, process, electrical, mechanical and civil engineering.
  • Experience in industrial risk analysis (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA).
  • Ability to negotiate and arbitrate technical decisions based on OPEX/CAPEX constraints.
  • Rigor and organization to ensure precise follow-up of technical requirements.
  • Proactivity and sense of responsibility in managing interactions.
  • Ability to listen and strong negotiating skills.
  • Synthesis and solution orientation.
  • Bilingual French and English required.
  • Intermediate German appreciated.
