ASU Commissioning Supervisor – Roumania – 6 Months

DCAI is seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Supervisor to support a cryogenic oxygen production project in Ploiești, Romania.

Supervise field activities during the transition from construction to operations

Manage pre-commissioning activities, including P&ID checks, static inspections, blowing, flushing and inerting
-
Perform and supervise cold tests, loop checks and functional checks
-
Support the dynamic commissioning and start-up of the Air Separation Unit
-
Supervise the commissioning of rotating equipment
-
Review E&I documentation, including logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams and instrumentation hook-ups
-
Read and verify piping documentation, including P&IDs, isometric drawings and support documentation
-
Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel in accordance with the project schedule and technical specifications
-
Manage punch lists and ensure the timely resolution of outstanding technical items
-
Enforce applicable HSE and QA/QC procedures across all field activities

Produce daily progress reports for the Commissioning Manager

Support the preparation of commissioning records and final handover documentation
Profile :
-
Proven experience in the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of Air Separation Units
-
Strong knowledge of cryogenic oxygen production and industrial gas facilities
-
Advanced experience in the commissioning of rotating equipment
-
Confirmed experience in loop checks and functional testing
-
Strong ability to read E&I and piping documentation

Practical knowledge of blowing, flushing, inerting and system preparation activities
-
Basic understanding of DCS modifications and LV/HV electrical supervision
-
Experience with Schneider PLC systems would be an advantage
-
Strong leadership, autonomy and subcontractor-management skills

Fluent English and professional French are required

Availability to mobilise to Ploiești at short notice
-
Relevant site safety, electrical, work-at-height and confined-space certifications must be current or obtainable before mobilisation
