Description :
DCAI is seeking an experienced Furnace Mechanical Erection and Commissioning Supervisor for a major steel industry project in West Virginia, USA.

Supervise the mechanical erection of an industrial vertical furnace
-
Coordinate installation activities with contractors, engineering teams and other disciplines
-
Monitor installation quality, progress and compliance with technical specifications
-
Support mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
-
Coordinate mechanical and instrumentation interfaces
-
Identify technical issues and support their resolution during erection and start-up
-
Manage punch-list activities and follow-up through to completion
-
Ensure compliance with applicable site HSE requirements
-
Prepare progress reports and commissioning documentation
Profile :
-
Proven experience in the erection and commissioning of vertical furnaces
-
Previous experience with furnaces installed on Continuous Galvanising Lines
-
Strong mechanical supervision background within the steel or metals industry
-
Good understanding of instrumentation interfaces and commissioning sequences
-
Ability to coordinate contractors and multidisciplinary site teams
-
Professional English communication skills

Availability to mobilise to West Virginia in August 2026

Appropriate authorisation to undertake the proposed activities in the United States
