Site QA/QC Manager – India – 12 Months

We are looking for an experienced Site QA/QC Manager to join a major industrial EPC project in Mumbai.
  • Lead and supervise the site QA/QC inspection team
  • Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans and NDT procedures
  • Ensure compliance with fabrication codes, project specifications and quality standards
  • Manage quality activities related to cold-box erection, storage tanks and piping fabrication
  • Monitor welding procedures, welder qualifications and welding records
  • Supervise visual inspections, LPT, RT, PAUT and other NDT activities
  • Review isometric drawings, GA drawings, structural drawings and P&IDs
  • Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic tests
  • Manage punch lists, quality files and final documentation
  • Coordinate with the client, contractors, third-party inspectors and NDT agencies
  • Promote a strong quality and HSE culture across the project
Profile :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 years of QA/QC experience on EPC construction sites
  • At least 10 years of experience on Air Separation Unit projects
  • Proven experience in cold-box erection, storage-tank fabrication and erection, and CS, SS and aluminium piping
  • Strong knowledge of ASME piping codes, welding procedures, materials and NDT
  • ASNT Level II certifications in VT, RT, MPT and LPT
  • PAUT knowledge and certification
  • CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2 certification
  • Fluent Hindi and English
  • Strong leadership, reporting and stakeholder-management skills
This is a senior site position for candidates with direct, hands-on ASU construction quality experience. 
Profiles without significant ASU project experience will unfortunately not be considered.
