GAS – SITE PLANNER – FRANCE (12 Months)

Description :
We are looking for a Site Planner for a minimum of 12 months in France (76).

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to take charge of the planning of construction activities over 30 months for a major EPC contract, worth around €500 million.

The contract involves the installation of an electrolysis unit for the production of H2.

The civil engineering work has already started and the items with long delivery times have been ordered.
  • Ability to prepare the basis for a project schedule and progress measurement sheets: Use the group work breakdown structure;
  • Ensure that all activities, including those of the customer and other stakeholders, are presented;
  • Coordinate with disciplines to ensure dates, duration, links and weights are correct;
  • Analyse the critical path (or close paths) and work with the project manager to improve and mitigate schedule risks;
  • Coordinate with the project team and discipline team
  • Work closely with the project engineers; participate in project reviews and project coordination meetings;
  • On a monthly basis, update the schedule and progress measurement sheets based on actual progress and realistic forecasts.
  • Analyse progress (tasks behind schedule and tasks to come).
  • Propose corrective measures to improve the situation;
  • Assist with project execution planning and project control in order to meet deadline and progress requirements.
  • Support the project manager in decisions relating to the project execution strategy; structure all activities from the start of work to the end of the project.
  • Ensuring transparency with regard to deadlines and progress.
Profile :
  • At least 10 years' experience on large industrial EPC projects
  • Good knowledge of Primavera P6 (mandatory)
  • Significant experience on a construction site
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of Google sheet is a plus
  • Soft skills: proactivity, excellent communication skills, curiosity
