DCAI is currently seeking an experienced MV/LV electrical engineer to join a major industrial engineering project in France.

The successful candidate will be involved in the design, review and coordination of medium and low voltage electrical rooms (MV/LV rooms) and associated electrical distribution systems, within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

• Prepare and review electrical diagrams and technical specifications

• Design and review MV/LV electrical systems, including: Switchboards / Transformers / Motors / Power and control cables / UPS systems / Battery chargers / Capacitor banks

• Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines

• Supervise outsourced electrical engineering studies

• Manage technical documentation, drawing registers and project files

• Participate in equipment inspections and factory acceptance testing

• Assist on-site installation and commissioning teams

• Review and validate detailed engineering deliverables

• Prepare technical comparisons and equipment evaluations

• Perform calculations on electrical networks, including: Short-circuit studies / Load flow calculations / Power balance studies

• Deliver design files for MV/LV switchgear rooms and enclosures.
