As part of the process of replacing a consultant, UGT is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to provide technical leadership for complex defence systems programmes.
  • Oversee the technical execution of the programme and coordinate all contributing disciplines
  • Translate contractual commitments into technical scope, requirements, deliverables and responsibilities
  • Ensure that product performance meets contractual requirements
  • Monitor development, industrialisation, qualification, production, quality and integrated logistical support activities
  • Coordinate system engineering and integration activities
  • Manage technical interfaces with the client, partners and subcontractors
  • Consolidate risks, opportunities, resources, costs, schedules and technical budgets
  • Ensure compliance with the scope, deadlines, budget, quality standards and programme governance rules
  • Participate in the development, industrialisation, qualification, roll-out and technical support of the systems
Profile :
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field
  • Expertise in systems, mechanics, electronics, software, vehicles or complex integration
  • Proven experience in technical project management or programme management
  • Good command of systems engineering, systems integration or product development coordination
  • Good understanding of development, industrialisation, qualification and production cycles
  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical interfaces
  • Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills
  • Experience in the defence sector or with complex systems is a significant advantage
