Description :
DCAI is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to support the installation and commissioning of process equipment for a major steel industry project in West Virginia, USA.

Supervise the mechanical installation of degreasing and pickling sections

Oversee piping installation, inspection and mechanical completion activities
-
Coordinate contractors and site teams during erection and commissioning
-
Monitor progress, quality and compliance with project specifications
-
Identify and resolve mechanical installation issues
-
Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities
-
Ensure that site activities comply with applicable HSE requirements
-
Prepare progress reports, punch lists and commissioning documentation
Profile :
-
Proven experience in the supervision and commissioning of cleaning, degreasing and pickling sections
-
Strong experience on Continuous Galvanising Lines, Annealing and Pickling Lines or Continuous Annealing Lines
-
Sound knowledge of industrial piping and mechanical equipment
-
Previous experience within the steel or metals industry

Ability to coordinate contractors and multidisciplinary site teams

Professional English communication skills

Availability to mobilise to West Virginia in August 2026

Appropriate authorisation to undertake the proposed activities in the United States
